This one-year program to be pursued after graduation in any stream will impart to learners all necessary knowledge, attitude, and skills to teach effectively children/students with certain learning disabilities, especially in schools. The learning disabilities prevent children from using their natural/normal abilities of proper listening, speaking, writing, reasoning, etc. The topics covered in this course are Nature and Needs of various Disabilities; Skills of Creative Expression; Assessment of Learning Disabilities; Intervention and Remediation of Learning Disabilities; Educational Planning and Management; and Curriculum Designing and Research.
