Using imaging equipments and machines, these paramedical professionals produce pictures of any internal body parts, to help physicians in making perfect diagnosis and treatment for diverse injuries or illnesses. These technicians may be generalized or specialized in any particular type of machine or clinical area [such as breast imaging]. X-ray technicians can work with a variety of imaging technologies and machines, such as traditional x-ray machines, MRI, CT, fluoroscopy, or film and digital mammography.
